Salt Lake City, Utah (November 6, 2020) Foundation 4Life donated $133,000 to the Granite Education Foundation to purchase a refrigerated truck. The truck will allow the Granite Education Foundation to deliver meals to students who live within the Granite School District. KUTV Channel 2 was onsite at 4Life global headquarters for a press conference to commemorate the truck unveiling.
The Granite School District has over 67,000 students. Approximately 65% of them rely on school for meals.
4Life Service Ambassador Jenna Lisonbee: “This is legacy work. This refrigerated truck will allow the Granite Education Foundation to serve an additional 20 schools during the pandemic. They can now help almost 14,000 more students! It is an honor to help others during this difficult time.”
The Granite Education Foundation helps students and their families living in the Granite School District in the Salt Lake Valley. Foundation 4Life has been a partner since 2018, and has supported the organization with scholarships, continuing education opportunities, back-to-school events, fundraisers, and holiday drives.
Granite Education Foundation Board Member Kathy Newton: “The Foundation 4Life truck’s maiden voyage was to deliver eight pallets of Santa sacks to schools throughout the district. The holidays are barely upon us, but we always begin early.”
4Life has offices in 25 markets to serve the company’s worldwide customers.
