Salt Lake City, UT (September 14, 2023) As part of its National Day of Service and Remembrance project, Foundation 4Life supported the Utah Jazz Foundation during an academic career fair.
Between 2020 and 2022, the Utah Jazz Foundation provided a full-cost scholarship to 114 Utah high school students. Many of the recipients were first-generation higher education students. Scholarship recipients are currently college sophomores or juniors.
Utah Jazz Foundation President Mike Maughan: “We’re so grateful to 4Life for being here and for being such amazing partners. Thank you for coming; this is such an impactful and important event, and we appreciate your support.”
The Utah Jazz Foundation career fair was designed to develop awareness among these students about opportunities available following graduation. 4Life participated onsite and provided career experts.
Foundation 4Life Marketing Specialist Gerusa Nobre DeFries: “What a top-notch experience. The event was well-organized and each student and parent attending the career fair was appreciative of the information 4Life shared. It’s an honor to work with the Utah Jazz Foundation and to support a bright future for these scholars.”
