Salt Lake City, UT (February 14, 2024) 4Life recently named Steve Pederson Senior Vice President of Supply Chain—Quality and Analytical Services.
Since joining 4Life in 2020, Pederson has defined and improved the company’s Quality Management System. This system now includes product quality, regulatory compliance, product certification criteria, quality systems implementation, vendor qualification through auditing and performance, and lab and analytical services.
Pederson is a Certified Quality Engineer licensed by the American Society for Quality. He holds the credentials of Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Practitioner: an industry distinction awarded to individuals who study and practice food safety in manufacturing. His experience in supplements and nutraceuticals spans twenty years.
Pederson served in the United States Marine Corps and achieved the rank of Major. During multiple deployments, he participated in numerous missions to support counterterrorism and anti-piracy. Additionally, Pederson served in a special assignment as an Assistant Professor of Naval Science and taught several classes at the University of Arizona.
He received his undergraduate degree in Environmental Science from California State University, San Bernardino and his Masters in the same discipline from the University of Arizona in Tucson.
